Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time (8-hour shifts with overtime possible)
Pay Range: $75,000 – $100,000 / year (depending on experience)

The Role: Building Automation Controls Technician
As a Building Automation Controls Technician at Pulse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building automation systems. You will be accountable for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting temperature control and building automation system. Your expertise in building automation controls, including Tridium Niagara systems, will contribute to the overall energy efficiency, sustainability, and productivity of our customers’ facilities.
What You’ll Do
Install, program, service and maintain building automation systems, including Tridium/Niagara hardware & software, Alerton, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Distech, Carrier and others as required.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building automation controls.
Conduct remote support, preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure the optimal performance of automation systems.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
Provide technical facilitation and training to customers and field service engineers.
What You Bring
2 to 5 years of experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a diverse variety of BAS products and software. In lieu of experience, a 4-year degree in computer science / networking may be acceptable.
Building Automation Systems or similar programming skills.
Ability to meet the background check requirements for federal projects & restricted facilities.
Valid Michigan Driver's License
Preferred But Not Required
Niagara Tridium experience and/or certification
Alerton Compass experience and/or certification
General computer network knowledge
Experience working with open protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, LON, etc.)
Experience with SQL Programming, Tridium/Niagara (AX & N4), Alerton’s Compass or other Commercial Industrial Systems
Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience
